Due to CDC and local government recommendations, we have made the difficult decision to close our office for all patients with general dental needs. We will be open for emergency patients by appointment only. We plan to reopen on April 6th but will monitor the situation closely. Thank you for your understanding!

My teeth are sensitive. Can I rely on a toothpaste for sensitive teeth?

No. Relying soley on a "toothpaste for sensitive teeth" may just mask the source of your teeth's sensitivity. The best way to help sensitive teeth is to see a dentist in order to determine the cause of the sensitivity.

Toothpaste may only temporarily disguise the problem, allowing it to get worse. A cavity, bad bite or root erosion may be the source of your teeth's sensitivity, and a desensitizing toothpaste may only help for a short period of time. A dentist, however, can help you discover the source and provide treatment options for long-term relief.
